Work and employment
This article stipulates that persons with disabilities have the right to work, on an equal basis with others. It emphasizes that they should have the opportunity to gain a living in an open, inclusive and accessible labour market and work environment. It requires the: prohibition of discrimination; protection of all relevant rights; access to employment services; promotion of employment opportunities and career advancement.
