Administered by the Centre for Disability Studies (CDS) at the University of Leeds, UK. The list (started in December 1994) is reputed to be the largest of its kind in the world with 700 members from over 20 countries. It provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, information and news, particularly among researchers, students and disabled people working within a social model. This is a very active list. It is a useful place to pose questions, and sometimes covers international issues
