The aims of this website are: to improve the understanding of the public policy decision-making process, including the different ways in which public policy decisions and decision making contexts can be categorized; to improve the understanding of the factors that influence policy decision-making, including ideas (research knowledge, other types of information and values), interests, and institutions; and to derive concrete implications for research funders, research organisations, knowledge brokers, and policy decision-makers about how best to transfer and facilitate the uptake of research knowledge in policy decision-making environments.
