List of basic sources in English for a medical faculty library

A list of key materials with an emphasis on paper, and low-cost editions of classic and universally acceptable texts, covering 57 health sciences subjects in addition to dictionaries, directories, librarianship and information science. It includes a total of 1568 titles. This latest edition emphasises health development within a developing country setting and avoids highly specialised clinical publications.
